On [Dec. 28, 2024], Miami’s celebrated Havana 1957 and Cortadito Coffee House will open their doors at [Flamingo Las Vegas, 3555 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109], offering visitors a taste of 1950s Havana right in the heart of the desert.
Melding old-world Cuban charm with the energy and style of South Florida, these concepts from Vida & Estilo Hospitality Group aim to bring “A Cuban American Affair” to life. “We are thrilled to announce the opening Havana 1957 and Cortadito Coffee House at Flamingo Las Vegas,” said Eduardo Araoz, co-founder and owner of Vida & Estilo Hospitality Group. “With South Florida’s ‘Un Día en La Habana’ now complemented by Las Vegas’ ‘A Cuban American Affair’ campaign, we’re excited to bring the glamour, flavor, and vibrancy of 1950s Havana to the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.”
Havana 1957’s menu will showcase traditional Cuban favorites like Ropa Vieja and Croquetas, as well as Miami-inspired Cuban Sandwiches and a signature Cuban Burger. Exclusive to its Las Vegas outpost, the restaurant will offer a selection of early-morning dishes such as Cuban Style Steak and Eggs, Tres Leches French Toast, and the 1957 Benedict, blending classic American breakfast fare with Cuban flair. At the cocktail bar, guests can savor Mojitos, Cuba Libres, and Daiquiris, while enjoying prime people-watching along the restaurant’s entrance.
Entertainment will enhance the dining experience as Havana 1957 celebrates three musical eras: the golden days of 1950s Cuba, the steamy rhythms of Miami’s famed music scene, and finally a tribute to modern Las Vegas glamour. With [252 seats and 3,998 square feet of space], the restaurant’s décor combines historical Cuban elements with Flamingo Las Vegas’ legacy as one of the Strip’s original resort-style properties.
Alongside Havana 1957, Cortadito Coffee House will offer its signature Cuban coffee classics, including rich cortadito, creamy café con leche, and comforting lattes. Opening on [Dec. 28, 2024] as well, Cortadito promises a cozy stop for travelers and locals seeking a caffeinated, culturally inspired start to their day.
