Pet parents, rejoice! A new air travel option is on the horizon, and it’s designed entirely with your furry friends in mind. RetrievAir, a pet-centric air carrier, has officially opened reservations for flights to nine U.S. cities, with services starting on May 21, 2025. Tickets are now available at RetrievAir.com.
This innovative air carrier aims to transform pet travel by providing a calm and luxurious flying experience on 30-seat regional jets. The concept is simple: pets and their owners travel side-by-side in a relaxed environment designed to feel more like a private charter flight—minus the hefty price tag.
Pet-First Travel Experience
RetrievAir’s approach is centered around providing a stress-free and pet-first experience, whether it’s during the booking process, check-in, or the flight itself.
Key Features Include:
- Side-by-Side Seating: Pets get their own seat next to their owners, sharing a spacious two-seat row with extra leg and lay room.
- Private Terminals: Passengers check in at exclusive, private-style terminals, eliminating the chaos of busy airports.
- Simplified Security Screening: TSA-approved processes ensure smooth check-ins at private terminals.
- First-Class Legroom: Aircraft offer up to 41 inches of legroom, providing comfort for both pets and their humans.
- Pet-Friendly Boarding: Flights board from the back forward, allowing pets to sit next to the window to minimize interaction with other animals.
- Dedicated Pet Attendants: Every flight has a specially trained attendant to ensure pets and their parents have a relaxing journey.
Flight Packages and Policies
RetrievAir offers the Family Plus package, allowing two adults to travel with one or more pets (under 75 pounds) without additional charges for pets.
- Baggage Allowance: Two checked bags per person (50 pounds each), plus one personal item per person and one per pet.
- Flexible Flight Changes: Changes can be made up to one hour before departure for a $50 fee per person, plus any fare differences.
- Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before departure result in a 12-month travel credit, minus a $50 fee.
Why RetrievAir Is a Game-Changer
For the estimated 54 million dogs weighing over 20 pounds, air travel has always been a struggle. Traditional carriers often require pets to travel in cargo, a stressful and sometimes unsafe experience. RetrievAir is changing the game by offering a comfortable and worry-free experience for pets and their owners alike.
RetrievAir’s private, pet-friendly lounges and relief areas make the entire journey more relaxing, while in-flight treats, water, and complimentary drinks for humans ensure everyone enjoys the ride.
Available Cities
Starting May 21, RetrievAir will serve nine major U.S. cities:
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
Los Angeles, CA
New York City, NY
Denver, CO
West Palm Beach, FL
Tampa Bay, FL
Chicago, IL

RetrievAir’s “Unleash the Sky, Together” philosophy promises to make air travel accessible and enjoyable for families who prefer not to leave their pets behind. With a focus on comfort, simplicity, and luxury, this new air carrier could be a game-changer for pet owners nationwide.
