St. Pete Beach has a new reason to shine as the Hotel Zamora reveals a stunning $7.5 million renovation, elevating it to a 4-star luxury destination on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Alongside this transformation, the hotel introduces Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar, a new dining hotspot replacing the former Castille restaurant.

The ambitious renovation, spearheaded by Sherman Associates, revitalized the boutique hotel’s 64 guest rooms and suites. Featuring Mediterranean-inspired decor, spa-like bathrooms, and premium air purification systems, the rooms now offer a luxurious stay for travelers. Some accommodations even include vitamin C-infused showers for an added wellness touch.

The hotel’s amenities received significant upgrades as well. The rooftop, known for its panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico, downtown St. Pete, and the Intracoastal Waterway, has been redesigned to enhance its appeal. Visitors can enjoy the revamped pool area, gym, and outdoor spaces, making the property ideal for both vacationers and business guests.

"We wanted to honor the Hotel Zamora’s history while bringing in modern touches that define comfort and luxury,” said George Sherman, CEO of Sherman Associates. “This project is about more than just the hotel—enhancing the area’s charm and supporting local growth.”

Introducing Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar

With the grand unveiling of Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar, Hotel Zamora adds a fresh culinary experience to its offerings. The restaurant presents a menu inspired by coastal and Mediterranean flavors, featuring influences from Italy, Greece, and Spain. Guests can enjoy indoor dining, terrace seating, or drinks at the rooftop lounge while soaking in breathtaking sunset views.

Azura Coastal Kitchen operates daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. The rooftop lounge is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Reservations are available via OpenTable, making it easy for visitors to secure a spot at this picturesque venue.

With its luxurious makeover and exciting new dining option, the Hotel Zamora is set to become a must-visit destination for travelers seeking upscale accommodations and memorable culinary experiences on St. Pete Beach.
