The Hudson River Music Festival is set to make its grand opening at Croton Point Park this Saturday.
Long-time attendees may recall the vibrant Clearwater Festival, first organized by folk musician Pete Seeger and his wife Toshi during the 1960s. Known for its rich history, it stands as one of the nation's oldest music festivals.
Now revived under a new title, this beloved event returns to the same scenic location and weekend as the original, which was paused due to financial issues and the global pandemic. The last in-person celebration occurred in 2019.
