PESHAWAR, Pakistan — Nine holiday-makers died and six more remain missing after a wall of water swept through the Swat River on June 27, according to local officials, as reported by Dunya News. Eighteen people were caught in the flash flood at the Khwazakhela bridge, roughly 125 miles north of Islamabad, during the peak of Pakistan’s early-monsoon travel season.
