This initiative aims to attract remote workers looking to experience life in South Korea while continuing to earn an income from abroad. The move comes as countries worldwide, including Japan, have begun to introduce digital nomad visas to stimulate their economies by drawing in foreigners who contribute financially without taking local jobs.

Key Highlights of South Korea's Workation Visa:

South Korean airline Air Premia is set to expand its international operations by launching a new route between Seoul and San Francisco. Starting May 19, the airline will operate this service four times a week, joining the competitive market alongside Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and United.

Since its debut in the fall of 2021, Air Premia has been steadily increasing its presence in the U.S. market, currently offering routes from Seoul to Los Angeles and Newark. The airline also operates a Seoul-Honolulu route, which is scheduled to continue through early March.
