Seabourn Opens Bookings for 138-Day 2029 World Cruise

Seabourn announced Sept. 2 that bookings are open for its 2029 world cruise, Iconic Islands & Remote Horizons, a 138-day voyage aboard Seabourn Quest departing Miami on Jan. 7 and ending in Lisbon on May 26, 2029.

According to Seabourn, the itinerary covers more than 32,000 nautical miles and 58 destinations in 31 countries and territories, including 32 islands. But for anyone considering that much time away, the more useful details are how long the ship stays in port, what’s included and whether a shorter stretch is an option.

Seabourn’s 2029 itinerary includes eight overnight calls

Seabourn says the route travels through the Americas, South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, Africa and Europe. Alongside Bora Bora and Easter Island, the itinerary includes Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands, Praslin in the Seychelles, Antsiranana in Madagascar, Akaroa in New Zealand and Burnie in Tasmania.

The cruise line lists 20 extended stays, including eight overnight calls: Lima, Easter Island, Bora Bora, Bali, Singapore, Sydney, Zanzibar and Cape Town. That’s a detail worth weighing alongside the destination count; more time ashore can matter more than another pin on the map.

Seabourn also says guests will have opportunities to visit more than 25 UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Easter Island, Fiordland National Park and Stone Town of Zanzibar. Optional Seabourn Journeys land programs include visits to places such as the Galápagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Uluru and the Taj Mahal.

What’s included for full world cruise guests

Travelers booking the complete 138-day voyage receive a separate set of benefits, according to Seabourn. Those include:

• Up to $4,000 in shipboard credit per Veranda Suite, or up to $8,000 per Penthouse Suite and above.
• Round-trip business-class airfare and a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay in Miami.
• An included two-day, one-night Seabourn Journey in Bali.
• An upgraded Stream Wi-Fi package powered by Starlink for two devices.
• Unlimited laundry, wet cleaning and pressing.

Seabourn says the Bali program includes cultural encounters, culinary experiences and village explorations. Full world cruise guests also have an exclusive evening planned at Cape Town’s Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, with private after-hours access, regional cuisine and live entertainment.

Book by September 17 for early savings

Seabourn is offering 10% early-booking savings for reservations made by Sept. 17, 2026, on the full world cruise or eligible voyage segments.

Can’t commit to 138 days? Seabourn says shorter extended voyage segments will be offered, with itinerary and availability details to come closer to launch. The exclusive world cruise amenities, however, are reserved for guests sailing the complete voyage.
