In a magnificent launch event, the new Cunard Queen Anne embarked on her inaugural voyage from Southampton on the evening of May 3, 2024. The event drew thousands of spectators and was marked by a dazzling fireworks display. This historic sail marks the beginning of Queen Anne's service, anticipated to herald a new era in luxury ocean cruising.
During the send-off, guests enjoyed a sail away party featuring performances by English tenor Russell Watson. The Queen Anne's maiden journey will include stops in La Coruna, Spain, and Lisbon, Portugal, showcasing her as the latest addition to Cunard's fleet, which now boasts four operational ships for the first time since 1999.
Looking ahead, Queen Anne is set for a diverse inaugural season, with her next voyages covering the Canary Islands, the British Isles, and various destinations across Europe and the Baltic Sea. Her design and offerings reaffirm Cunard's legacy of maritime elegance and luxury.
