Alila Hotels unveils immersive Alila Moments campaign

CHICAGO — Hyatt's Alila launches 'A World Awaits,' unveiling Alila Moments from Big Sur to Oman for travelers seeking authentic culture and nature connections.

CHICAGO, United States — Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE:H) wants well-heeled globetrotters to pack more than luggage on their next getaway. In a sweeping announcement distributed through Business Wire, the company confirmed that its luxury brand Alila has rolled out a new global creative campaign, A World Awaits, designed to kindle “immersive and personalized guest experiences that span culture and community, nature and environmental awareness, creativity, and wellness.”

The Campaign in a Nutshell

According to Hyatt Hotels Corporation, A World Awaits seeks to “invite travelers to discover a more connected world” by juxtaposing sweeping destination visuals with private moments of mindfulness. The effort also debuts Alila Moments—a refined collection of one-of-a-kind, exclusive activities that will be available at every Alila property worldwide. The company states that these experiences are “exclusive, one-of-a-kind, and thoughtfully crafted,” intentionally fostering “transformational connections between guests and the community, rooted in local wisdom, the distinct culture, and their fellow travelers – designed for an impact that lingers long after check-out.”

“A World Awaits is a pivotal campaign for the Alila brand, reinforcing its commitment to the luxury traveler who cherishes every step that they take, believes in moments of wonder large and small, and cares about the planet as much as they care about themselves,” said Katie Johnson, vice president, global brand leader, luxury portfolio, Hyatt. “ From cultural and environmental immersion, to enriching bespoke experiences and holistic wellbeing, with this campaign, Alila hotels look forward to guests experiencing the worlds of culture, tradition, nature, spirituality and more, that await them at every corner.”

Signature Alila Moments Announced

Firmly grounded in the distinctive traits of each destination, every Alila Moment is available exclusively to hotel guests. The launch highlights five marquee offerings that span three continents:

  • Alila Ventana Big Sur in California | Coldstream Bliss: A Big Sur Ritual
    A private half-mile hike through redwood groves combines breathwork, intention-setting, and a bracing river cold plunge.
  • Alila Fort Bishangarh in India | Back to the Roots: A Tour of Rajasthan’s Artisanal Heritage
    Guests craft pottery, bangles, and runs under expert guidance before receiving a traditional Ayurvedic head, neck, and shoulder massage.
  • Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali | The Spiritual Essence of Bali: A Journey of Ritual, Reflection, and Wonder
    A day of sacred cleansing, temple offerings, local cuisine, and a sunset Kecak performance.
  • Alila Hinu Bay in Oman | Sacred Resin: A Ritual of Frankincense and Renewal
    Travelers craft frankincense scrubs, enjoy a full-body ritual, and sit down to a five-course frankincense-infused dinner accompanied by local storytelling.

Why It Matters to Luxury Travelers

Alila properties have long been favorites of wellness-minded adventurers who crave deeply rooted cultural immersion. Hyatt underscores that the brand is already known for “moments of discovery, serenity, and immersion, with wellness, care for the environment, and respect for local tradition at the core.” The new initiative widens that lens by promising that each Alila Moment will give guests “space to go beyond themselves to discover and genuinely connect with the surrounding environment through uniquely personalized and transformative experiences.”

Expanding Global Footprint

Today, the Alila portfolio spans “18 awe-inspiring destinations across Indonesia, Maldives, Oman, India, China, Malaysia, and California,” and Hyatt confirms that every one of those hotels will feature the new programming. The brand’s newest outpost, Alila Dong’ao Island Zhuhai, is described as “a luxury all-suite clifftop resort perched at the southwestern tip of Dong’ao Island in Zhuha.” Looking ahead, Alila Mayakoba is slated to open in late 2025, marking the brand’s first foray into Latin America.

The broader Hyatt empire remains formidable: “As of June 30, 2025, the Company's portfolio included more than 1,450 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 80 countries across six continents.” Every numeral and brand within Hyatt’s Luxury, Lifestyle, Inclusive, Classics, and Essentials portfolios is retained exactly as the company lists them.
